Japanese chain restaurant incoming.
Japanese sushi and steak concept Roka Akor is scheduled to debut this summer in the 2929 Weslayan luxury apartment high-rise. The 6,500-square-foot space will offer a variety of seating options, including a sushi bar, booths, patio and three private dining rooms. The restaurant is known for its slick design, craft cocktails and menu of sushi and robata grill steaks. It will be the brand’s first Texas restaurant; other branches are in Scottsdale, Ariz., San Francisco, Chicago and Skokie, Ill.
